The BGC (or Bad Guy Cafe) was created by Ziegelzeig ! In short, the BGC represent the crazyness of a group of friends who liked the movie Zootopia and wanted to continue following anthro stories through Zieg's creations, and a little bit from me too, since I joined the group later but created some BGC events in collaboration with the fox. It's a team name, even through there is no official discord server about it anymore. As for the official members of the BGC ... let's just say they are mammals officialized by their meeting with the BGC logo, the Old Wolf Tavern... and crazyness! For example, If you got a sticker BGC, you can be sure to be a part of it!

Like said Zieg himself...

"With the BGC, we put forward a personal and community vision of original characters who evolve in an anthropomorphic world which is defined by our common ideas and our funny shenanigans. And I think that considering that our characters evolve basically in the official universe of Zootopia reduces our creative potential. It is for this reason that I wish to dissociate the universe of BGC from the universe of Zootopia. In short, our universe must be considered as a completely original anthropomorphic world, and we must detach ourselves from the officiality of Zootopia, and leave this universe to what Disney made of it (or wishes to create with it in the future). This doesn’t mean that we have to exclude everything that Zootopia has brought to us; it would be stupid since some official BGC arts bring up Nick and Judy, and other characters from Zootopia. But we must appropriate these versions of the characters as if they existed in an AU which would be the universe of the BGC. In short, we invert the values to appropriate the universe that we create together: rather than being pieces added to the official universe of Zootopia, we transform elements of the universe of Zootopia that we like to integrate them to our personal universe. I think it's the best way to formalize our little world, and give it the value it deserves. (oh and of course, this only concerns BGC related stuff, i don't want to interfere with any of your personnal projects, fanfictions, etc. it's just to explain my point of view on this, not to impose anything on you)"
